The anti-war strategy of talking points and goalpost moving and mendacity, all boiled down to two noxious paragraphs:

Tom Corchero (Letters, May 29) can't understand how someone can support military action to stop genocide but oppose the war in Iraq. Our intervention in Serbia was touted as a strictly humanitarian mission. Compare that to the war in Iraq which was based on lies and false assumptions.

No, there is no difference between human beings in Sudan and Iraq. But there is a difference between putting our brave soldiers in danger for a just cause and doing it for a politically misguided one.
